Jericho: Worsted Weight Mohair - Wool Blend Yarn, Light Oak
This beautiful yarn is comprised of 60% brown colored mohair and 40% white Gulf Coast Native wool for a natural colored worsted weight yarn in a lovely light oak color! The mohair was raised on my farm in Virginia, where I pasture raise my sheep and angora goats using organic and holistic practices. It is from a sweet, lovely goat named Jericho. All of my animals are lovingly raised and humanely sheared. The wool was purchased from a farm in Georgia that specializes in raising the rare breed Gulf Coast Native sheep. It is from a gorgeous sheep named Marjorie. The two fibers were gently washed, blended, and spun at a local family-run mill to produce a drapey, soft, and strong worsted weight yarn in a gorgeous natural color with that telltale mohair halo!
This yarn is a soft, balanced 2-ply worsted yarn. Each skein weighs approximately 4.25 ounces and measures 200 yards. It has a wonderful weight and feel and can be used for a variety of projects! Whatever you make, you won't be disappointed!
This yarn is stored in a pet- and smoke-free environment. Hand wash finished objects in cold water, lay flat to dry.
